Because commercial touch terminals are deployed in very different environments, the fastest way to specify the right product is to start from installation type and use case. The index below maps our six product lines to those two variables.
Wall-Mounted Tablets & Panels
Installation: fixed to walls, columns, or fixtures. Use case: room scheduling, access control, building directories, smart-home and hotel control, industrial HMI where a flush panel is required. Available with PoE power to simplify cabling in ceilings and risers.
POS Hardware
Installation: countertop or integrated into an existing checkout lane. Use case: retail and hospitality point of sale, order capture, and payment workflows. Standard interfaces include NFC/RFID reading (e.g., badges and member cards) and RS485; card readers, receipt printers and payment modules are evaluated for integration per project.
Digital Signage & Commercial Displays
Installation: freestanding, suspended, or wall-mounted in public-facing areas. Use case: retail advertising, menu boards, transport information, and corporate communication. Android, Windows, or Linux builds (OS availability confirmed per model) let integrators run their own CMS or playback software directly on the display.
Self-Service Kiosks
Installation: floor-standing, typically in high-traffic zones. Use case: quick-service restaurant ordering, ticketing, queue management, and self-checkout. Kiosk builds combine the display and computing platform in one enclosure; payment modules, printers and scanners are evaluated for integration per project.
Industrial Touch Panel PCs
Installation: panel-mounted or cabinet-integrated on production and control equipment. Use case: factory automation, machine control, and industrial data terminals. RS485 industrial control suits environments where consumer-grade hardware is not appropriate.
Computing Modules & Mainboards
Installation: embedded inside your own enclosure or third-party hardware. Use case: OEMs and integrators who need the compute platform of a commercial touch terminal without the housing. Android, Windows, and Linux options are available across the module range, with OS availability confirmed per model, with open API/SDK support for software integration (scope confirmed per project).
Choosing Between Categories
Two questions narrow the field quickly. First, how is the device mounted — wall, counter, floor, panel, or embedded? Second, who operates it — staff, customers, or machines? A countertop POS terminal and a floor-standing self-order kiosk may run identical software, but only one fits a given site plan.
For mixed deployments, note that our portfolio covers Android, Windows, and Linux natively, with OS availability confirmed per model, with open API/SDK support for software integration (scope confirmed per project). Integrators can standardize their application stack across an entire rollout instead of maintaining separate builds per category.
OEM/ODM Customization
Levinko provides OEM/ODM customization for commercial touch terminals. Light customization moves to samples in 7-10 days, and peripheral integration is evaluated per project. Rapid prototyping takes 3–5 days, which shortens the evaluation cycle for integrators validating a new terminal design. Certificates available upon request.
